Jim Gallo has spent almost his entire professional career in
the
Corporate Renewal and Turnaround arena. Prior to forming
Gallo
Associates, Jim has worked as a consultant for more than 20
years.
Jim has become recognized as a trusted advisor and strategic
leader
in atmospheres of change, stress and economic turbulence.
Whether keeping a company from Chapter 11 or being the lead
in
cases of Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors, Jim is
known as a
clear thinker and straight talker who does everything with a
great
sense of urgency. He has spent several years acting as
interim Chief
Financial Officer or Chief Operating Officer for a number of
companies. Jim
built a significant reputation assisting teams in the
acquisition or sale of companies and has spent as much time
with helping his clients manage their growth as he has
managing their turnarounds. He has served clients in
numerous industries including manufacturing, distribution,
real estate, residential and commercial construction, music
and entertainment, restaurant, retail, packaging, food and
printing.
Jim earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the
University of Illinois, is a CPA, earned a Masters Degree in
Journalism from the Northwestern University Medill School of
Journalism and is a published author. He is a former board
member of the Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, Wheaton, IL
and currently serves on the boards of several not-for-profit
organizations. |
